Joey's new bike

We've had a quiet but great summer, just hanging out at home and going places here and there. The boys are wonderful, changing everyday. Joey enjoyed riding his tractor everyday this summer, playing with all his friends, helping mommy with the flowers ,and daddy with the yard work. Now he is loving riding his new big boy bike! Jacob is doing new things all the time. He is crawling and pulling himself up! He is Joey's biggest fan. The boys love playing together already, it is precious! After completing his driver's ed. certification clall in July, Steve finished odd jobs around the house this summer and kept mom's yard and ours looking great! He was the best daddy this summer, Joey was his sidekick everyday! Now he has started football and is very busy. We are going to have a great time going to the games this fall. I spent this summer basically keeping very busy with the boys. I can't believe it is time to start school already. I am going to miss being home but I am looking forward to getting back to teaching.

Fireman Jacob

6 months old!

The summer is off to a very busy start. Steve is taking his driver's ed. certification classes each Monday in June. So he has plenty of homework to keep him busy. He also worked the basketball camp the first week of summer. Joey went one day with him, and loved it! He really liked blowing the whistles. We went to the zoo on Friday, June 12th. The new African exhibit is awesome! It was the third anniversary of Grandpa Gary's passing, so on this sad day we wanted to do something fun. As each day passes we continue to miss him greatly but his memory certainly lives on through the boys! Joey has also been mowing each day. He spends almost every minute he can on his John Deere mower, push mowing, trimming and leaf blowing. Joey even washes all of the equipment and maintains it with his own tools. He wants to go into the mowing business in the summers with his daddy when he gets older! Jacob is enjoying summer too! He turned 6 months old on June 17th. He has 2 new teeth on the bottom, can roll both ways and sit up. Jacob definitely keeps us on our toes. As the doctor said, "when he starts moving he will be a forced to be reckoned with!"

Enjoy summer everyone!

Lots of Pics

As you can see by the pics below I am a little behind on posting. We have all been doing well just keeping busy with everyday things. Steve is done with track now and finishing up another school year. It will be so nice to have him home over the summer. Joey is doing great, it seems like over night he turned from a toddler into a little boy. For the first time he went to a friend's b-day party all by himself. He was so excited! Jacob is growing so fast! He is already 5 months old. It seems like he is getting a personality more and more each day! We are so blessed to have our little family!

Annie
